R.I.P good ol' blog

Its been a long time since I came here. Long time since I wrote something. Life's been a roller coaster so far. Have had my share of fun n frolic. Have had some sad n sorrowful moments. As Tupac Amaru Shakur prophetically wrote one of his great songs "Life goes on.."

I will not be blogging here anymore. The blogosphere doesnt exactly know me that much. So I wont be missed. But some of the rhymes & reasons in this blog will live forever. These pages will remain etched in history as the playground of an angry young lad who took to rap as much as raagas. This blog started with lot of controversy, and had its brushes with popularity. Most of the time, I wrote about rap, music, life, Chennai, politics & more. Things have changed.

I now work as a software professional (cough! ..slave.. cough!) in the IT industry, the ever booming, ever famous and hallmark of India's growing prowess. Or so they say.

Looking back at some of these posts, lot of them were in jest. Most of the views were from the distorted eyes of a young adult. The coming of age of an confused, slightly angry, rebellious, shy young boy. You may think how one guy could be all of the above, but hey.. I'm living proof.

I will miss this blog more than anyone else who visits here. My visitors were mainly from search engines, so I know I dont have a bunch of blogger friends who form clubs & act like hippies & try to enforce opinions & gang up on the weak writers and...wait a minute.. Where was I?

Oh yeah, I surely will miss this adventure that I started during my college days. When bloggin was fundoo or funda.. or watever it is you want to call "hip" in India. Before I finish my last lines here, I just wanted to share a weird dream. The audacity of hope! I had a dream that "One day, I would step foot in the US to study, when President Obama has 90% approval ratings & everyone was going crazy about it". Seems like big thinking huh?

Anyways, I retire this blog into the dark pages of history. When you read up on it, it will amaze you about the power of words & the thinking of the proverbial "angry young man".

Life will go on.....
